When leading a team in any business whether it be in an office outside of your home or a home business leader, keeping your team productive is crucial. Nothing drains morale and reduces sales such as that of an unproductive team. When your team is unproductive, they become bored and unmotivated. There are things you can do as a leader of your team to keep everyone motivated and pumped to keep the activity flowing.

1. Hold weekly team meetings. Team meetings are so important because it gives everyone a chance to connect and share concerns, ideas and suggestions for overall business success.

2. Offer incentives for a job well done. This can be more money, business tools and resources or a paid day off. When your team has something to work for, it increases motivation and performance.

3. Show recognition. Never let a job well done go without recognition. If someone on your team did something to help improve productivity, acknowledge it, reward it and announce it!

It is your job as a team leader to keep people motivated and active. If you show no interest in your team and their success, how do you expect them to show any interest?
