Liposuction for Battle of the Bulge

The famous movie “the battle of the bulge” has been coined into the fight of mankind against the common enemy of fat or obesity. That even though round is a shape, yet is not the appropriate shape that one can boast about in the phrase of “I am in shape” has no room for debate.

Heredity being one major factor that plays a part in the bulging process has not much of a physical control that can be administered or that can be stopped. People with such genetic gifts would tend to put on weight even though following a very strict physical regimen as well as food intake.

It is especially for such cases where liposuction procedure is advised, that would help to remove small bulges thereby giving uplift to the general body and looks. Liposuction is usually applied to removing fat cells from hips, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks and in some cases even the face.

There are different types of liposuction procedures and this would be explained by the doctor during consultation time and help in deciding the one to be undergone. The procedure could therefore be one which needs no admission to the hospital per se. The procedure however is conducted under anesthesia. This would depend on the quantum of fat that needs to be removed. An instrument called canella is used which is inserted in the areas form where the excess fat is required to be removed. The instrument sucks out the extra fat content and therefore the name liposuction.

Liposuction does not remove cellulite which is the factor that ensures skin quality. It rather removes only the fat that resides under the skin. For this reason individuals with low skin quality are not advised to opt in for liposuction as there is a tendency of skin disorders at the end of the surgery. There is also the issue of age being of help for a better end result of the liposuction procedure. People of youth are better expected candidates for achieving better results from a liposuction process.

Healthy low fat diets full of fresh fruit and veg and white meat, including chicken recipes and lots of fish, can also help to keep you slim.
